 Or you can keep one wall maroon or navy blue as the focal point.  Wall colors can be mixed with mauve, blue, purple, pink, light purple and turquoise as well as dull green. Lighter colors create a sense of openness and make the room look more inviting and bright.  But the trend of painting all the walls in the same color is over now. It is better if the color of the central wall is milky.  If the sun shines through the curtains in your room, it's a blessing and you should learn to enjoy it rather than trying to prevent it.
